Week 5 - Ning

I've joined Public library group at Ning. It hasn't taken high member yet.
First I heard about Ning was a while back. I looked up Mosman's online group and quite interested in it. I know by then that Ning is a social network that allows you to have a social network within Ning.
I always think Ning is pretty good for online reading group/book club. So Mosman library has provided an example.

After I've joined the public library group I find it's practically quite easy but it takes while for a group to get attention, same as some other library 2.0 groups. For a reading group probably mostly would be for middle or younger age population? not so sure. Because talking about age, I'm not that young either. So no bias.
I'll start a reading group on Ning next year for the library, promise myself - it's the plan!
One last word - I don't know how others to cope with the amount of information from amount of social networking. I struggle with my very limited time.
